Inspired Consciousness & Embodied Wellness
Saturday, October 1
with William Bowers
RESONATE's vision is to inspire transformation from the inside out — right in line with AMC's own mission for personal and community transformation. The festival is co-produced by two AMC dancers and several other AMC dancers are involved with the festival. AMC will offer an ecstatic dance wave on Saturday, October 1 in collaboration with RESONATE and William Bowers.
RESONATE creates a unique annual event located in urban Asheville, NC based in vibrational wisdom and alternative, noninvasive healing modalities, such as sound. Through the direct experience from inspired movement to deepening meditation, we offer creative environments for consciousness exploration.
Our goal is to inspire transformation from the inside out. We are here to remember and reintegrate our innate ability to replenish and restore our own energy. From philosophy to physics, from song to dance, our mission is to create connections of synergy that inspire You to live joyfully from embodied wellness, through informed science and cutting edge applications of ancient wisdom for a more balanced and transformed future.
RESONATE is held at the YMI Cultural Center, 39 Market Street, October 1 - 2, 2016.
AMC @ Southeast Wise Women Fall Conference
AMC @ SEWW
Saturday & Sunday, October 15 - 16
with Marta Martin & Conway Weary
AMC is honored to be part of the Southeast Wise Women Herbal Conference again this fall. AMC facilitator Marta Martin and AMC-seasoned facilitator Conway Weary will each facilitate one dance during the weekend.
The Southeast Wise Women programs, based in the Wise Woman Tradition, inspire women to deepen a connection to ourselves, the Earth and each other.
Connecting with Ourselves: We support a connection to the self by fostering self love, body acceptance, innate intuition and deep nourishment.
Connecting with the Earth: We encourage a connection to the earth by tuning into her cycles and connecting to earth-based healing traditions that include local plants as medicine.
Connecting with Our Sisters: We foster a connection to each other by weaving a web of sisterhood that is supportive and non-competitive, one that builds connections between women of all backgrounds, faiths, colors, shapes and sizes.

Asheville Movement Collective was founded on a tradition of volunteerism. If you've been to any of our events, you've encountered a volunteer. From the very beginning, dancers have aligned their passions with service to create space for what has become our burgeoning community.
AMC's aim is to host dance waves for personal and community transformation. Transformation doesn't only result from dance—it can also be found in how we relate to community.
