AMC Annual Community Meeting
Sunday, October 11
You're invited to join our dancing community on Sunday, October 11 following the second dance to talk about how we've growth over the past year and appreciate our community. More importantly, we'll have some time to celebrate together over a meal.
This year's Annual Community Meeting is about appreciation. This is a time to connect with other dancers in the AMC community—more of a gathering than a meeting. So, what do you appreciate about dancing with AMC?
We'll start at 1:00 pm with the group photo followed by community connection over a family-style light lunch. You are invited to contribute to a potluck dessert. Bring enough to share!
We hope to see you there!

Our regular Friday dance is held at the Asheville Ballet Studio on Weaverville Highway (right where Merrimon merges into Woodfin). Asheville Ballet has a combination Marley and suspended Maple floor and we want to help care for it. If you usually wear supportive footwear, please take a few moments before dance to ensure that your soles are clean and smooth.
Asheville Movement Collective was founded on a tradition of volunteerism. If you've been to any of our events, you've encountered a volunteer. From the very beginning, dancers have aligned their passions with service to create space for what has become our burgeoning community.
AMC's aim is to host dance waves for personal and community transformation. Transformation doesn't only result from dance—it can also be found in how we relate to community.
