Flexing Your Ticket: February Changes
At the recent Dancer's Gathering, one dancer asked about AMC's finances. The question was timely since we recently learned about a big change to AMC's expenses that prompted AMC's working circles to gather and respond.
AMC's rent at the Asheville Masonic Temple will increase by 50% beginning in February.
Besides our rent, the terms of our usage will also be changing, which means that we may dance in a different space several times throughout the year. So, be sure to check the website!
AMC's flex ticket will change from $7-15 to $8-20 beginning in February.
Many of you already volunteer and give more than the base ticket price, and I am so grateful for your strong support of our dance community. We believe this change continues to honor our commitment to an affordable community dance, and also helps to reduce the impact of our rent increase.

2002 Riverside Drive, Studio 42-O
Loft I Building (for parking purposes)
Asheville, NC 28804
Our Friday dance is held at NSY3 on Riverside Drive. You can follow Riverside Drive north from downtown (Broadway turns into Riverside Drive north of UNCA at the intersection for 240) or follow Elk Mountain Road to Riverside Drive in North Asheville (Elk Mountain Road ends at Riverside Drive).
NYS3 is located in a renovated warehouse, now used for artist and performance studios. The studio is in the middle of the warehouses lining Riverside Drive. Coming from Riverside Drive, the studio will be on your left before the Elk Mountain Road intersection.
A few spaces are available in front of the studio and in the gravel lot across from the studio. Additional parking is available in the large lot behind the studio (park near Loft I).
Asheville Movement Collective was founded on a tradition of volunteerism. If you've been to any of our events, you've encountered a volunteer. From the very beginning, dancers have aligned their passions with service to create space for what has become our burgeoning community.
AMC's aim is to host dance waves for personal and community transformation. Transformation doesn't only result from dance—it can also be found in how we relate to community.
