SUMMARY:The Power of Music
DESCRIPTION:Invitation: The Power of Music \nI think music\, out of all that we can do\, at least artistically\, is the great indicator that something else is going on\, something unexplained\, because it allows us to experience genuine moments of transcendence.\n— Nick Cave \nIn an early version of the myth of Eurydice\, she is the wife of Orpheus\, a master musician. Upon being bitten by a viper\, she dies and descends into the Underworld. Orpheus is grief-stricken but finds a way to go there\, and by playing his music and singing so beautifully\, he softens the hearts of the rulers of Hades\, and is allowed to take her back to the land of the living. \nHow do you experience the power of music? \nYou can hear some of Ted’s mixes at https://www.mixcloud.com/tarisk/. \n
