SUMMARY:Everything is Beautiful
DESCRIPTION:Everything is Beautiful\nFriday\, November 8th\nFacilitator: Lanie McKeever Anderson \nPlease join me for a precious moving prayer through ecstatic dance. \nEverything is beautiful and I am so sad.\nThis is how the heart makes a duet of\nwonder and grief. The light spraying\nthrough the lace of the fern is as delicate\nas the fibers of memory forming their web\naround the knot in my throat. The breeze\nmakes the birds move from branch to branch\nas this ache makes me look for those I’ve lost\nin the next room\, in the next song\, in the laugh\nof the next stranger. In the very center\, under\nit all\, what we have that no one can take\naway and all that we’ve lost face each other.\nIt is there that I’m adrift\, feeling punctured\nby a holiness that exists inside everything.\nI am so sad and everything is beautiful. \n~ poem by Mark Nepo\, “Adrift”\, from Inside the Miracle: Enduring Suffering\, Approaching Wholeness\, (Sounds True\, 2016)\n~ art by Lanie McKeever \nLanie’s mixes: www.soundcloud.com/rainbowdragonheart.
