SUMMARY:Speck of a Star
DESCRIPTION:Speck of a Star\nFriday\, January 17th\nFacilitator: Sara Bensman  \nWithin each of us is a particular genius\, our unique offering to the universe\, or what the ancient people referred to as a speck of a star.  Our ancestors knew that our collective future depends on each of us finding and sharing that genius with the world. \n“Don’t go away\, come near.\nDon’t be faithless\, be faithful.\nFind the antidote in the venom.\nCome to the root of the root of yourself. \nMolded of clay\, yet kneaded\nfrom the substance of certainty\,\na guard at the Treasury of Holy Light —\ncome\, return to the root of the root of your Self. \nOnce you get hold of selflessness\,\nYou’ll be dragged from your ego\nand freed from many traps.\nCome\, return to the root of the root of your Self… \nYou are a ruby embedded in granite.\nHow long will you pretend it’s not true?\nWe can see it in your eyes.\nCome to the root of the root of your Self.” \nFrom The Root of the Root of Yourself by Rumi
