SUMMARY:Emberlight Fundraiser @ WWC Morris Pavilion
DESCRIPTION:Emberlight (CCLD) Fundraiser: Ready\nSunday\, April 26th\, 2026\nGuest DJ:DJ Bobcat (Bob Swoap)\nFacilitator: Kris Hostikka \nPlease park in the areas designated by the pins on this map. There are close locations for those with mobility challenges. \nReady for the light and the dark.\nFor the known and the unknown.\nFor heartbreak\, for joy. \nThis collaborative dance between AMC\, Warren Wilson College’s Wilson Ecstatic Dance Student Activities group\, and Emberlight (Center for Conscious Living & Dying) is an invitation to explore how ready we really are. \nThanks to the collaboration with Warren Wilson College’s Wilson Ecstatic Dance Student Activities group\, all Warren Wilson Students & Faculty are invited to attend this special event for free. Contributions are still welcomed. Students and faculty please be sure to check the WWC checkbox when signing in. Let your friends know! \nPlease contribute up the sliding scale to support Emberlight. Proceeds go to Emberlight! \nSo often\, we feel not ready\,\nand then find ourselves meeting the moment anyway.\nSurprising ourselves with our capacity\,\nour community\,\nour love. \nIn the night we sang to storms \nBefore the peace that breaks at dawn \nHow did we doubt the evening sun \nWe didn’t know we were ready. \nWith the answers at our feet \nWill we break the grounds beneath \nWhat if the dreams were ours to keep \nWhat if the silence said it\n~ Ólafur Arnalds
