SUMMARY:The Boundless Heart
DESCRIPTION:The Boundless Heart\nGuest DJ: Jeannie Adair\nSupporting Facilitator: Marta Martín \n\nI’ve been reflecting on the nature of the heart as I prepare this mix. While discernment and boundaries are necessary to protect ourselves from harm\, I am filled with gratitude for one of the greatest gifts we have been given: the boundlessness of the heart and its limitless capacity to expand! Beyond the confines of our physicality and our emotions\, the heart extends far into the unseen realms\, and is part of the oneness of all things. \nOur animal bodies have  the remarkable ability to hold a vast range of emotions from profound joy\, deep sorrow\, fierce passion and gentle tenderness. Through the heart we can navigate the complexities of our inner landscape with grace and resilience\, and create profound shifts within ourselves and in the world around us. \nBeyond emotions\, the heart is a source of unconditional love that transcends boundaries\, cultures\, and differences. It has the capacity to radiate warmth and acceptance to all beings\, fostering connection\, understanding\, and unity. \nThe heart’s boundlessness is connection to the divine\, the portal through which we access our intuition\, higher wisdom\, and universal consciousness\, tapping into the collective energy of love and the oneness that permeates all existence. \nLet’s celebrate the boundless nature of the heart! In connecting with the rhythm of our beating hearts\, the music\, and our creative expression\, perhaps we will experience a sense of liberation\, of freedom\, and connection to ourselves\, to each other\, and to the infinite of our collective heart.

SUMMARY:Reset
DESCRIPTION:Reset\nFacilitator: Rory Jagdeo \nWe are constantly bombarded with changes and as we get older\, it becomes more and more intense and even harder to embrace. We are faced with our own physical and spiritual changes\, not to mention technological and economic changes forced upon us by the “System”. The breaking point can happen\, and thus we need a reset. \nWhy do we need a reset in life? It is an opportunity to heal\, to let go of the old and create the new. \nLet’s use this dance as a starting point to gather with a caring community – to feel safe and be your true authentic self. Laugh out loud\, dance with all your heart\, practice gratitude\, meditate in the flow\, take a break\, give yourself some tender loving care\, and sweat your prayers.

DESCRIPTION:AMC Special Event Saturday!\nEmbodying the Mystic: Workshop and Dance Wave with Karavan Sarai\nGuest Musician: Karavan Sarai\nSupporting Facilitator: Cat Hay \nWorkshop 4 pm – 5 pm\nEmbodying the Mystic Workshop: Middle Eastern Mysticism meets Modern Day Music & Movement\n \nDance 5 pm – 7 pm\nKaravan Sarai Ecstatic Dance Electronic & Acoustic Set \nJoin AMC and special guest Narayan Sijan of Karavan Sarai for a special Saturday event! Let’s connect in music and movement to the mystical traditions of the Middle East. Karavan Sarai will be playing for the first time for AMC\, bringing both a workshop and dance wave. With music celebrated as “Middle Eastern to Indian Music meets lush electronics”\, this event will bring a unique offering to AMC that is meant to inspire flow and transcendence. The workshop will be assisted by Cat Hay and will include contextual and spiritual teachings from the mystic path and how this lives through sound and body as we practice embodiment exercises for whirling and flow. Following the workshop\, we will have an extended dance wave of live music with electronics and towards the end will move into acoustic\, all together creating an evening of eclectic fusion music. \nYou can check out more about Karavan Sarai at https://www.karavansaraimusic.com/. \nPlease arrive promptly at 4 to attend the workshop and by 5:15 for the opening circle. \nNo childcare is provided.  Children are welcome to attend. SUMMARY:Indulgence
DESCRIPTION:Indulgence\nFacilitator: Marta Martín \nThis is the time of year to delight in the brilliance of being human and indulge in the beauty of moving freely on this beautiful planet of ours.  It is the time to engage in a dance with all our 6 senses without judgement. Let’s notice how easy or difficult it is to drop everything and connect with our joy. Let’s celebrate being elated even if it’s only for a few moments.

DESCRIPTION:Surrender\nFriday\, July 21st \nGuest DJ:Munodoc\nSupporting Facilitator: Cat Hay \nIn the face of uncertainty\, of transformation\, of that which we cannot control comes the ultimate test- do we resist\, or do we let go? \nWhen we resist\, the shadows come out\, and the suffering comes in…\nBut when we accept\, allow and embrace\, we become open to the new paradigms of being that beckon us\, we release our desires\, and we find the flow\, basking in the light of our liberation. \nThere is no greater misfortune\nthan wanting something for oneself.\nTherefore he who knows\nthat enough is enough\nwill always have enough\n– Tao Te King\, chapter 47 \nBio: Juan Pablo Mendez-Barjau started playing and making music at an early age\, and a big part of his journey has been centered around the music shared amongst friends and family. Such an intimate style of relating allowed for connection in a more creative and harmonious way. The joy and sadness experienced within musical collaboration initiated his own personal healing process\, which has now led to him living out his soul’s purpose of sharing these gifts with others. DESCRIPTION:Celebrating the Harvest!\nFacilitators:Robert Kochka and Amanda Crowe \nThere is no harvest without celebration. \nWe receive what we have been given\, what we have worked for\, and what has been shared\, with all the creative abundance we can muster. Generosity moves many ways. It is in the giving\, yes. And also in the reception. Also in the wonder we share about what can exist. Also in the reflection we offer to each other\, complex in all our parts\, celebrating the wholeness of self and others. \nTake pride in this abundance. Care for it by reveling in its strength and possibility. Be a love letter to generosity\, exploring every inch of its beautiful ways. Come together in service and joy. \n— Excerpt from Lammas by Maeanna Welti.
