DESCRIPTION:Revelations\nSunday\, May 26th \nPathway Facilitator: Sara Bensman\nSupporting Facilitator: Marta Martín \nRevelation is commonly associated with the apocalyptic doom of biblical Revelations\, but at the root of the word revelation is re-\, as in release and “velare\,” meaning cover or veil. It is literally an unveiling or a “striking disclosure”.  When something is revealed to us\, we lay ourselves bare of our previously held mental protections and projections and we become exposed to transformation (which begins with trans- or trance). \nWhile we search and plan and attempt to control outcomes\, the answers that we seek often can not be imagined until they appear.  Whether the revelation is personal or cosmic\, it leaves us stripped of all we have known\, lost in the chaotic and unfamiliar until we adjust to and co-create a new reality. \n*https://www.etymonline.com/word/transform \nRevelation Must Be Terrible \nRevelation must be\n terrible with no time left\n to say goodbye. \nImagine that moment\n staring at the still waters\n with only the brief tremor \nof your body to say\n you are leaving everything\n and everyone you know behind. \nBeing far from home is hard\, but you know\,\n at least we are exiled together.\n When you open your eyes to the world \nyou are on your own for\n the first time. DESCRIPTION:Connected\nFriday\, May 3rd at WWC Morris Pavillion \nFacilitator: Rory Jagdeo \nIt seems like these days that all we’re getting is a quick “fix” –- nothing more. We are not connecting. We are not totally engaged in the moment. We are always in a hurry and ready to move on rather than linger for a while and get a sense of connection with our surroundings and ourselves. We are preoccupied with the ‘lists’ and ‘tasks’ in our lives. We are not beholding nature\, friends\, families\, and relationships. The list goes on and on. \nThis means we are not engaged. To be engaged means we are connected physically\, emotionally\, and spiritually. Being engaged means feeling and experiencing\, rather than just knowing about it. \nIf we look at what is going on in our world today\, there is so much chaos and so much suffering experienced by so many. Nations rising against each other – the human connection is lost. The value of human lives are not valued and that is sad when you think of us all being created or designed in the image of the divine plan. \nHow can we get back on track? Is it by connecting on the basic human needs? A gentle touch\, our laughter\, a smile\, a dance… \nThis dance tonight is one way of establishing a real connection in this modern society where you can touch the earth or floor with your bare feet and be in the presence of an accepting inviting community. This dance practice helps you express deep emotions and drop in and feel more engaged. \nThe Door is Wide Open— Come On In!!!!
