After 17 extraordinary years of steadfast dedication, personal growth, and impactful service, I have made the deeply heartfelt decision to step away from my role as Executive Director at the Asheville Movement Collective, effective immediately.
Nonetheless, I am committed to facilitating the two dances I am scheduled to lead in May and June, after which I will officially conclude my active leadership responsibilities within the organization. I will stay in the background to support key transitions and training of other officers as needed.
This journey has been nothing less than transformative—a profoundly enriching experience marked by unforgettable moments. I have gained invaluable lessons, found resilience to navigate profound challenges—including the remarkable perseverance required during the COVID era—and shared the joy of celebrating meaningful accomplishments and AMC’s most inspiring milestones. Growing alongside such an incredible and visionary community has been an extraordinary gift. It is with immense gratitude that I look back on the opportunity to lead, collaborate, and dream with the inspiring individuals who made this “dance floor of possibilities” so vibrant.
