In the dawn of newfound clarity, a path unfolds anew,
A journey from shadows, to a life honest and true.
Once lost in a haze, where choices seemed so dim,
I found my strength, in the courage within.

I’ve left behind the storm, that brewed in every glass,
Embraced the cold embrace, of waters clear and vast.
Each plunge, a choice to cleanse, to renew my spirit’s call,
In the icy depths, I found the will to stand tall.

With every step, every breath, I choose to rise, not fall,
To lace my shoes, and face the day, answering wellness’ call.
The path is mine to tread, with determination in my stride,
For in the choices of today, my future’s hope does abide.

No longer a prisoner to the night, nor to regret’s endless churn,
I’ve chosen a brighter path, at every twist and turn.
The warmth of sobriety, a beacon in the night,
Guiding me forward, with its gentle, guiding light.

In the gym’s quiet echo, or the road’s steady beat,
I find my rhythm, my heart’s own steadfast feat.
Each drop of sweat, a testament, to the battles I’ve won,
Under the watchful eye, of the rising sun.

For today is the canvas, on which tomorrow is painted,
With strokes of choices made, and the vices acquainted.
I weave my future, with threads of present deeds,
Planting tomorrow’s hopes, like a gardener sows his seeds.

So here I stand, at the helm of my own fate,
Choosing paths that uplift, that heal, that liberate.
For in the power of now, in the choices I embrace,
I find the strength to journey, to a brighter, hopeful place.
