As long as humans have existed, we have sought trance states in order to scratch that incessant desire to alter our experiences, lose ourselves in the body, and shake off our day to day debris. We chant, run, spin, rock, sing and dance in order to release the gripping and loosen the mind. This dance expresses that urge in humans throughout the world and throughout time.
Facilitator Notes
Sara’s mix-making arises from musical exploration. She seeks to understand energy through somatic responses to sonic vibrations. Her facilitation is propelled by a desire to help build and sustain community by creating a safe, loving container for self-expression, connection and release.
