Facilitator's Invitation
Flow State
Friday, August 22nd
Pathway Facilitator: Kris Hostikka | DJ Kristikka
Supporting Facilitator: Marta Martin
When we immerse ourselves in the dance, we step into the river of flow—where rhythm becomes our compass and the mind loosens its hold. We surrender to timelessness, letting the music carry us beyond thought, beyond effort. In this sacred current, resistance melts, and the dance moves through us, shaping and softening what lies hidden within. Together, we tumble through light and shadow, rising and falling, transformed in the infinite embrace of movement.
Facilitator Notes
Kristikka discovered five rhythms in Los Angeles in the 90s but it wasn’t until she landed in Austin that this practice took hold of her in a big way. Now, after decades of dancing, she’s stepping into facilitating this sacred practice by training with the ecstatic dance OG O’skar Madera and mentoring with DJ Esme. She DJ’d her first wave in San Antonio, TX. before relocating to the Asheville area in 2023. Listen to her here: soundcloud.com/dj-kristikka
