Originally coming from the Germanic language, the word weird was spelled “wyrd” in Old English, and signified destiny and fate, intricately woven together by unseen forces. I invite you to pay homage to this ancient wisdom. In this dance, we will honor the weirdness that lies within each of us—our uniqueness, our quirkiness, and our unconventional magic that sets us apart. We recognize that our individual wyrd is a thread woven into the larger fabric of existence, creating a beautiful and harmonious dance of diverse souls.

In this space of acceptance and celebration, we acknowledge that our wyrd is not something to be hidden or suppressed, but a treasure to be cherished and explored. It is through our weirdness that we find our authentic selves, liberated from the expectations of conformity.

So let’s welcome our ecstatic weirdness with open arms, moving fearlessly, knowing that we are an essential part of the grand cosmic dance! Let us weave our unique wyrd into a vibrant tapestry of love, joy, and freedom to create a collective energy that reverberates from the dance floor out into the world.
