Facilitator's Invitation
Global Jungle Bass
Friday, July 25th
Facilitator: Micah Swabb | DJ Mikaya
Summer Friday night ecstatic dances are a vibe. For this one, you are invited to connect with the wild, vibrant energy of tropical plants and hypnotic global bass music. As we flow through the rich textures and earthy rhythms, we ground into the dark soil like deep jungle roots supporting the lush foliage above. This is a place to drop into your body, release control, and let nature’s pulse guide you into deeper presence.
Facilitator Notes
Micah “Mikaya” Swabb began his ecstatic dance DJ journey 14 years ago as the founder and resident DJ of Dance Church Maui. After that chapter ended in 2019, he relocated to Asheville, where he has been a regular DJ and facilitator for various ecstatic dance gatherings in and around the area. His catalog of over 80 eclectic ecstatic dance journeys can be streamed for free at soundcloud.com/mikayaswabb, where he enjoys engaging with listeners.
