On the dance floor I get to be confronted with all the different parts of me. The ones that want connection, want to belong, want to be alone, etc. For this dance, I want to invite the concept of honesty and maybe a more radical version than what already exists. What does full honesty look like? How does it feel? How does it move? Can you bring your honesty to the practice and dance with it?

 
Bio: Hunter the Gatherer is dedicated to the search for eclectic global sounds, compiling them together, and creating a journey of prayer for the dancer. As a dancer and being versed in 5 Rhythms I intentionally curate journeys from that perspective. A way for the body to express all the different parts and for the emotions to be felt and alchemized. I bring my love of different sounds and my range of different electronic textures and genres to create a colorful landscape to journey through. Any time I play for others it is a deep honor and I use it as an offering to our temples so that we can express our prayers and move stuck energy that no longer serves us. I play for those who came before and will come after me. Creating my dream by playing music for others. 🙂
