Western culture is linear and hierarchical. We should improve, grow, and get better. We should accumulate more learning, health, and wealth. We should reach the goal, score the touchdown, and accomplish the objective. We should work hard to get from Point A to Point B.
What if reality is actually circular? If you keep heading east, you end up west, so what have you accomplished? What if there is nowhere to get? What if life is just a dance?
