As we near the end of the year of the snake and shed our last layers, what is it that you are envisioning emerging?
Are there parts of you that have been lying dormant, stifled or unexpressed? Is there an aspect of you ready to be liberated?
Perhaps there’s a whole new avatar you’d like to try on. We can use the dance to experiment and play with new possibilities. Get curious.
As we continue to release, we create space for new layers of our being to come forth and be expressed. Who will emerge on the other side?

Karen Funshine
Karen Funshine has been dancing since age 3, with movement as her lifelong ally. A veteran raver & EDM enthusiast, she was delighted to discover 5Rhythms and ecstatic dance 10 years ago in Austin – a sober and judgment-free space to get wild & free. She’s since facilitated many women’s conscious dance circles and a vibrant live-instrument dance – weaving music and somatic movement to alchemize emotion, open the heart, and awaken joy. Recently relocated to Asheville, Karen is honored to share her passion and playfulness with her beautiful new community through the universal language of music and dance.
