In physics, a singularity is the point where the ordinary rules no longer apply. In the science of phase transition, there is a precise moment — the melting point — where enough warmth has accumulated that matter can no longer hold its frozen form. Not broken. Not forced. Simply transformed. Solid becomes fluid. Rigid becomes free.
We are living in a time that asks us to stay hard. To hold shape. To keep it together. And quietly, without always noticing, parts of us have frozen in place — waiting for the right conditions to let go.
This Sunday morning, we create those conditions together. Through music, through movement, through the simple radical act of showing up and being witnessed — we offer ourselves and each other the warmth needed to reach that point. The singular moment where something in us softens, releases, and remembers how to flow.
Facilitator Notes
Micah Swabb (DJ Mikaya) is a facilitator at AMC and creator of dance waves with many styles and flavors within the Ecstatic Dance realm. His deejay skill has spanned over two decades covering many ecstatic dance containers, festivals, sound healing events and yoga classes.
