Milk & Honey
Sunday, December 3rd
Facilitator: Jeannie Adair
Milk & Honey is an ancient term meaning a land overflowing with abundance. MILK, meaning that which sustains us, and HONEY, the ‘extra’ sweetness that we need to thrive.
What is luxury?
In Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way, she defines luxury of spirit as being necessary to thrive in a creative life, and the self-care of TIME and SPACE as requirements to experience true abundance.
Time for deep rest and quiet. Time with friends and loved ones, for laughter, and to create new experiences of joy. Time to cry, to grieve, to feel your feelings.
In addition to time, we also need space. Creating sacred space can be as simple as a candle in the windowsill or arranging a shelf that holds objects that are precious to you, or decluttering and rearranging your furniture to clear the energy of your room. These open us up to universal flow where we can more easily tap into our creativity in all aspects of our lives. These open us to more easily connect with our spirit.
When we allow the self-care of time and space to sustain us, we nourish ourselves with life’s MILK. Then each step we take is a dance of abundance, every breath we draw is a delicious taste of life’s HONEY.
This dance invites you to revel in the luxury of spirit together through moments of connection, creative expression, and love dancing in our hearts.
