When a song makes your skin prickle…
When a scent unlocks an entire chapter from your childhood…
When you move, and your body remembers something your mind cannot name…
This is nostalgia embodied.
Unlike choreographed movement, freeform dance invites your nervous system to lead, allowing a memory to surface not as story, but as sensation. Here, the body becomes the oracle. Movement opens the vaults where emotion has been sleeping, and invites it to be witnessed, felt, and released.
In this way, nostalgia becomes a ritual of remembrance—a longing, or sacred ache, an embodied blessing of the life you’ve lived, the love you’ve felt, and the self you’re still becoming.

About Jeannie Adair {Leontine}: I craft music mixes as healing journeys, weaving stories of connection and resilience through global rhythms and voices. I believe in the power of somatic movement to heal body and soul, and as a pathway to deeper awareness and expanded consciousness. For me this sacred practice of embodiment supports our connection to source and to each other.
