How do you express grief in the aftermath of a natural disaster? Just putting those two words together – natural and disaster – feels contrary to the human spirit.

Prior to Hurricane Helene, Western North Carolina was flourishing in its first stages of foliage season. Now? We are faced with grief beyond individual and collective comprehension. So many people feel soul-shocked and gutted by the devastation. So many hearts are cracked open. So much is still tender, raw and wounded. So much weeping remains…

We’re hosting this eco-grief dance in the beloved barn at Lake Eden as an invitation for you to be in your grief and with your grief, to give movement and expression to your grief; to allow your grief to flow freely through you…
