Butterflies are known for their beauty and grace. They undergo a profound metamorphosis—a total surrender to change that dissolves their former form in order to become the magnificent creatures we see. Every stage of this process is temporary, including the final, most radiant one.
Can we learn from the butterflies to trust the process of transformation? To understand that real change often requires letting go of familiar parts of ourselves—old patterns, identities, or comforts—in order to become something new?
Just like the butterfly, we too are invited to embrace impermanence and trust that the dissolution is not the end, but part of becoming.
Facilitator Notes
Marta has been part of AMC since she moved to Asheville from Surfside, FL in 2008. She has been teaching movement for over 20 years, using music and movements from around the world. She loves to motivate people to find freedom in their bodies so they can dance to the spirit of the music.
