Remember that moment when you were caught off guard? Maybe it was a loss or maybe you received unexpected news. Suddenly the ground fell away beneath your feet. You hung suspended in midair for a long moment, untethered to your known world. The wind moved through and blew away everything that was extraneous. You were unsure of what would happen next. Eventually you landed. Your body dropped to the ground again like the kernel falling into the winnowing basket. And you reoriented yourself to this new reality.
Let’s expand that moment to a dance. Let’s witness how we navigate the uncertainty and explore the sensation of releasing our expectations. Let’s discover what we trust when we fall.
