It can be hard to ask for help &  hard to accept it. Often it’s much easier to be asked for help than to offer it. Are we a burden? Do they really want to help? Do our needs really matter to others? We’ve been hurt before, and we don’t want to be hurt again. Shall we repel the support of others or shall we lean into that growing edge?
