Facilitator's Invitation
Kundalini Rising
Friday, September 5th
Pathway Facilitator: Kris Hostikka | DJ Kristikka
Supporting Facilitator: Ted Riskin
Within us, at the base of the spine, there lives the creative life force of Kundalini energy. Through dance, breath and presence, we can tap and awaken it allowing this snake like movement to spiral and open us. Come dance from this deep inner place and enjoy this wave crafted and infused with the flavor of India.
Facilitator Notes
Kristikka discovered 5Rhythms in Los Angeles in the 90s but it wasn’t until she landed in Austin that this practice took hold of her in a big way. Now, after decades of dancing, she’s stepping into facilitating this sacred practice by training with the ecstatic dance OG O’skar Madera and mentoring with DJ Esme. She DJ’d her first wave in San Antonio, TX. before relocating to the Asheville area in 2023. Listen to her here: soundcloud.com/dj-kristikka
