The Days of the Dead

As the days grow colder, the shadows grow longer and the dark nights lengthen, our attention tends to move toward our internal space. Throughout history and across the globe, people have responded to the turning inward by reacquainting themselves with death. Dia de los Muertos, Samhain, Allhallowtide, and Halloween, each express this impulse with its own distinct flavor. This Sunday, we will dance our unique AMCollective fusion of the season’s death days and invite our loved ones that have crossed over to join us on the dance floor. Please feel free to bring photos or objects for our shared alter to honor and welcome your dead friends and family.
