This set was inspired by the transformation that can occur when we go within to seek a new path, perspective, or solution. Too often, we want to know what others think is best, forsaking our own internal wisdom and guidance process, which comes from experiencing, reflecting, and integrating.
Facilitator Notes
DJ Esmæ has been moving in the world of ecstatic dance for over 13 years and sharing musical journeys as a DJ for the past 5. Her sets weave sound into pathways of remembrance, honoring the unfolding of one’s own becoming. She invites an awakening of expression and emotion that may have been resting beneath the surface. Through tension, rhythm, and texture, she holds space for dancers to return to themselves.
Megan recently joined AMC’s facilitator pathway and is on the journey to becoming an AMC facilitator!
