Megan fell in love with Ecstatic Dance as a movement and spiritual practice on the Big Island of Hawaii. After participating as a dancer for 9 years she began DJing during 2020, live-streaming sets for people to feel connected to community at home. Her practice deepened when she moved to Austin, TX – eventually expanding into mentoring new DJs for Austin Ecstatic Rhythms and organizing the Sunday Second Wave. Her style is a modernized version of the 5 Rhythms, with a tribal edge. The intention for every set she creates is to provide a container for transformation while also not forgetting to play and have fun!
